Originally a 3 CD set with an 8 page booklet, the physical form of Supernormal Recordings has now sold out, and is unlikely to be re-printed in its original form. All the original artwork is included with the download, so you can, should you wish, recreate it for yourself!
On Friday 19th August 2011 Black Tempest headlined the second stage at the Supernormal Festival, held in the beautiful grounds of Braziers Park, Ipsden, Oxfordshire. This CD set commemorates this event.
The first disc is a live recording of the concert, and discs 2 and 3 are a representative cross-section of the hours of recordings made during rehearsals at Tempest Towers in the weeks leading up to the festival.
Supernormal is, according to its own descriptions, a “new addition to the festival circuit, a spontaneous and experimental DIY artist-led event, which lends itself perfectly to the magical looking-glass world that is Braziers Park”. A marvellous antidote in these corporate-driven festival days, Supernormal has a vibe not unlike that from festivals of years gone by, a wonderful communal buzz of expectancy. If you have the chance, make sure you go along next year.

Very psychedelic, world-infused acid rock with philsophical lyrics about nature, war and other topics that will completely blow your mind. The members of the band all play various instruments and transition mid-song, which demonstrates the sheer talent these guys have. I recommend listening to this on shrooms, (or another psychedelic) like I did, to fully experience this art.
This album is definitely within the Top 3 albums in my collection. Wolf Moon
